The truth? I didn’t set out to become a coach.
For most of my life, I followed the path I was told would lead to happiness.
I became a nurse — a career built on helping others, staying strong, and holding it all together. For 14 years at the bedside, I poured my heart into caring for people, often at the expense of myself.
On paper, I was accomplished.
In reality, I was exhausted.
I had built a life that looked good — but it didn’t feel right anymore.
Somewhere along the way, I had lost touch with myself.
The fall that became the beginning
About nine years ago, in a moment of quiet desperation, I typed “how to love yourself” into Google. That small act of honesty led me down a path that would change everything.
I explored breathwork, energy work, meditation, yoga, so many self help books, and every tool that promised transformation.
Some of it resonated — some of it didn’t.
But through it all, I began to see a deeper truth: real change isn’t about fixing yourself — it’s about loving who you are.
That realization took me around the world on so many adventures:
To Sedona for deep inner work.
To Bali and Mexico for yoga retreats.
To a silent meditation retreat in Chicago, where I met myself in stillness.
I even lived in a van for seven months, traveling the country and learning how to be alone — really alone — and okay with it.
Every new experience stripped away another layer of the person I thought I was supposed to be.
What emerged was something simpler, truer, and finally… peaceful.
I learned to love and trust myself wholeheartedly!
